ROTEIRO 4 - Walking (Return by Car) Barro Branco TOTAL DISTANCE 14 km on foot, 27 km by car Take walking shoes, hat, swimming clothes, sun cream, water and food. An easy all day walk with breathtaking views along the original road into Lençois. Pass through Barro Branco and arrive at the Pai Inácio Hill early afternoon. Possible to go to the top of the Hill. Return by car. Take walking shoes, hat, swimming clothes, sun cream, water and food. |

BARRO BRANCO – WHITE CLAY Distance from Lençóis: 8km. Time: 2 hrs on foot. Once an important mining centre, Barro Branco is now an almost abandoned village with very few people living there today. It is possible to see ruins of the first road into Lencois and some of the houses that were built at the peak of the mining era. |

MORRO DO PAI INÁCIO – PAI INÁCIO HILL Distance from Lençóis: 16km. Time: 5 hrs on foot. At 1200m above sea level, the top of the Pai Inácio hill offers one of the most spectacular and photographed views in the area. One of the most beautiful spots of the Chapada Diamantina.
